Thanks guys......... The tracks are supposed to be covered on the inside, but because the way the hulls are glue together I need it open so I can actually put it on and off. Gears and sprockets I stole from leftover parts of my Matorro KT which I believe are Mato brass 3:1. Weight is not as bad since it has plastic tracks for now so it is all the resin.
I have been making some fixes to see if it will go forward properly, but the sprockets keep slipping on going forward as I don't think there is enough weight on the tracks, kinda of like a rear wheels drive car spinning on the ice. Going backwards is like front wheel drive so no problem there.
I might have to take Dean's advice and try putting metal tracks on and see if that helps. It does have 360 rotation on the turret since I put in two motors, so I will just put it in the middle of the field and stay there like a fortress with a gun.
The gas tank can be release from the inside in the real thing so they can jettison it when they get to the battle field, I am just trying to figure out how to do the straps since the gas tank is a solid piece of resin and weights a ton.
