| Easy, it's one of the new Sherman chassis releases, probably the M10 _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

I have no idea what they are up to these days honestly... but that T-34 of theres is 75% all new molds. The upper deck is Heng Long but the turret, and lower hull are completely unique to Taigen. Who makes em? Torro? Asiatam? Whatever. They are making good sh*t... This 'announcement' still hasn't been confirmed... it could be anything. Erek is teasing the hell out of us, it stings, haha. I just hope all the hype today is worth it. I'd crap my britches if it was something crazy like a Grant or a Churchill. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| If it is JT I hope they are not just reusing the Taigen KT lower hull. I have issue with the position of the idler already and if they try to pass it on as a JT lower than it would be really a disaster.

| The lower hull he posted in that thread is a new one and not the existing tiger hull! And Curtis I feel the same... I like new stuff but his method slightly pissed me off _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Yes, not so good, and could backfire if this isn't something special.
I think IMEX is doing a great job getting tanks into hobby shops, but too many times I have waited on an announcement from Taigen only too find out it is a Heng Long /Asiatam match up then any of us could have put together 3 years ago. However the T-34 metal hull is new and a step in the right direction, So I am hoping we will actually start seeing new things from them.. |

| Can anybody say Jagtiger made by Mattoro several years ago? New King Tiger = use existing lower and just recast upper. making the "new" tank re- releasable. KT lower is actually not that bad and pretty close i would think. |

oh and by the way erik hasn't told me but intelligent money says its a Jagtiger. several reasons for this thought but that is where my money is He also said it has a turret and a tank destroyer which would make it a M10/M36. Basically the only tank destroyer with a turret in WWII (Hellcat I guess is the other one). The chassis has no torsion bar or any kind of suspension which would make it likely to be a Sherman chassis. Besides, there is already all metal Sherman coming so this kinda make sense. Smoker doesn't seem to go out to the back plate so exhaust would either be Sherman style or actually routed to the rear deck. My money is on a M10. Interesting to see what they do with the open turret if that's the case. MikeC. |

KT lower is actually not that bad and pretty close i would think. Curtis, you have to see my JT with the mod Taigen KT lower. The Mattorro JT was not to scale and I can't imagine them doing something like that again. The KT lower is already short in my opinion and it will be another scale foot shorter for a JT. |

I am not in any hurry to find out, I'm sure there will be more info available in good time. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| It would have a better impact if you log on and having your mind blown seeing the product for the first time. The way he does it is just a long dragged out tease. Like watching a stripper dancing to a long song, by the time she gets to the big reveal, you found something else to look at. Anyway if it's not anything British, I mostly likey won't be excited. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| He said something about having to catch a snake, so maybe all the Imex guys were attacked by a rattler and he was delayed Bwahaha That hull looks really, really small. It's similar in width to my Chi-Nu-Kai, which is the smallest tank. Smaller than a Panzer III internally, only those side sponsons stick out more. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| The tank has been revealed.........
....a re-hatch of Mato's all new metal Sherman, which I hear may also be available in October too.
Seriously if you're going to build a lot hype over a new product, at least make it something no one has done before. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Like I said, one or two factories, upgrade and repackage and POOF! you have a new "brand" These "companies" all get their tanks from same source.... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov
