Hi guys,

Forgot to mention at the last battle day that I will be travelling to London and Paris this Christmas Holiday period with my family, leaving this Sunday. The flat we are staying at London is apparently one minute walk from the Imperial War Museum, and I have scheduled a one day trip by myself to Bovington which is about 2 hour train ride south west of London.

So if anyone need any close-up pictures please let me know and I will make sure I take extras on those tanks. Otherwise, stay tuned for pictures in the new year !

Pics from the Imperial War Museum London. There is actually three locations of IWM, one of them is London and it is mostly about the stories (Has an amazing Holocaust Exhibit, as well as a Victoria Cross section) but has minimal hardware display unless it is part of the story. Then there is IWM Duxford which is about an hour and a half outside of London and this is where they have all the hardware on display (aircrafts and tanks etc) which I didn't goto, and lastly there is the Churchill War room by Buckingham Palace, my family went and told me it was amazing but I didn't go because I was at Bovington.

if only the merlin were fuel injected at the time. It would have made the Spitfire twice the dog fight it was

Porsche KT, not in the best of shape as you will see in the next pic:
Imperial War Museum and Bovington <a href=Imperial War Museum and Bovington Dsc05120" />

Someone removed the back escape hatch.....
Imperial War Museum and Bovington <a href=Imperial War Museum and Bovington Dsc05121" />

And probably moved it to the Henschel KT as it looks brand spanking new and ready to be driven off to battle:

Panther Schmalturm turret. Was used as a target until someone realized what it was:

JT was in running shape post war but pretty bad now. Still a special moment when I saw the beast:

Funny enough the JT was not the heaviest or the biggest tank on display. That honour goes to the TOG2
Imperial War Museum and Bovington <a href=Imperial War Museum and Bovington Img_2014" />

They dressed up a Finnish Stug as the one in the famous picture:
Imperial War Museum and Bovington <a href=Imperial War Museum and Bovington Dsc05124" />

And last, but not lease, the Carro Armato M13/40, my favour childhood tank !
