| Let me gather some more intel but I am planning on being there for 8 provided the weather cooperates to set up. I will have lots of trees and my usual buildings and 2 bridges. Any other field decoration anyone wants to bring would be most welcome. I will also bring a 10 x 20 tent with a few tables but more tents and tables would be appreciated... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." | Hi Guys, First, is anyone else having issues with the forum being on and off? I am having a hell of a time getting on it the last 3 days. Very intermittent. Can anyone who is planning to come please let me know, Just trying to get a head count. So for directions here is what I have been given: "They've put us in the newly built visitors centre which is underneath the Gardiner. No one has been there or used it yet but it's supposed to be very roomy and accommodating. You reach it by going up Garrison Road between the Armoury and the Brewery, and there's a small parking lot there. We will have to unload there, then park the cars around the corner at the city lot nearest the Princess Gates and walk back (not ideal but that's what we've been instructed to do.)" So basically for us who are coming from the west we would get on Lake Shore Blvd. going east, turn left on Fort York Blvd. and then left again on Fleet St. and right on Garrison rd. and just before the road curves on the right should be the parking lot for the visitors center. If we are set up out front of the building we are right under the Gardiner so we have some overhead cover! LOL! If the weather is a wash they are going to give us an area inside to work with but of course it will be smaller than a battlefield outside! Here are some links for everyone to look at. Even if we don't get to really battle this is still an interesting new museum to come and see and the miniatures show is worth it too! I will be there for 8 am... http://www.fortyorkfoundation.ca/the-plan/http://www.fortyorkfoundation.ca/the-visitor-centre/http://fortyork.upakneepress.com/files/images/pdf/Current_Floor_Plan.pdfhttp://www.omss.ca/pages/annual_show.html _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." | So from what I can see it will be Hach and his 5 crew, maybe one more, MichaelC, Capp, myself,
Jordan? Wayne? Anybody else thinking about it? $5.00 admission to see some of the best figure painters in the Canada is pretty cheap and the museum has that new car smell...:-)
Love to see more out but we have enough to have some fun.... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| I would love to be able to make it there but this is a tough time for me to get away.
I guess I will have to wait for the 1st meet at Black Creek in June. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."
