| The Aussies run Abrams eh? You'd think at first that they'd be running Leo's like a several Commonwealth-ish nations are, including Canada. Interesting. Is your full time job painting tanks? Anyhoo I'm interested in Abrams parts, I see now that HobbyRaw has a 'total metal' version for about $500CAD, including steel gearboxes tracks & wheels... what parts are you getting and from where?? _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Yeah not sure why they went from the Leo 1 to the Abrams... Leo 2's would have been nice to see down here.... I wish my full time job was painting tanks..... The wheels I used are from tank army which I think are the ones hobby raw sell although tank army was cheaper... Gearboxes and tracks will be Tamiya GB's with Kenny Kong tracks and sprockets which I will be getting from my contact in Hong Kong... If you guys want anything painted let me know the AU dollar is low compared to the US dollar.... Cheers Ken |

| That's sweet. I'm taking a liking to these new Abrams hehe.. I read on RCU that the HobbyRaw tracks were finally out I don't really know how comparable they are to Kenny's, but they are getting good reviews. The wheels of that type are awesome. I was really happy with Tank Armys set for my Pershing, they went the extra mile for me an AFAIK they're the only people with that 'forward' suspension arm in metal for it.. good guys. I think our dollar's are still pretty even, that cheap oil (lol) is killing our rich-peoples' investments and therefore us poor people must suffer _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Hey Strato yeah I saw those tracks last night on hobby raw and they look really nice... so I am thinking of going that way and just use a decent set of H/L gearboxes instead..... |

| I love the paint job! I would like to help you be as accurate as possible if you would like. The Aussies only have M1A1s from the Abrams family. there are some things you can do to correct this if you want to go that route. the TC`s cuppula is is different on an a1 as to an a2. ill have to put more later i have to go back to work. |

| do you know why the #7 skirt is missing off the tanks you have in the pictures, or why you took them off of your model? the reason they are not on the real tanks is cuz of damage done to them during throwing of track. it is nasty damage and just gets in the way so to save time they just remove the skirt. |
