Laugh. $50 of aviation fuel to open 6 beers... Funny...
I saw that tank one before, It's nice. Look up others done by the same guy for some cool other tanks.
Plus others are very creative as well. IS-7 anyone?

Can anyone tell me what scale 1/16 converts to in mm? I see 15mm and other such scales when I look at Normandy houses. There is a wargame group who make houses for their games.I want to convert them to our scale.

1:16 is also known as 3/4" (3/4" per foot) so closer to 100.6mm using miniature scales...
15mm scale is actually 1:107

Tank on ferry. I used to deliver cement to an island in lake Erie. When my truck hit the ramp the ferry would tilt. My truck weighed 40 tons. The people on board would grab the railings. I had to hit the middle.

1/16 translate to 120mm scale.

We were lucky not to have been subjected to the ravages of war. However the European survivors are lucky to be able to search for war remnants like this tank and other items pulled from boughs and rivers . At my age I visualizes what these tankers must have gone through to give us these trophies.

Ed. This explains why I was confused earlier in the year when you asked if I had that bit. Thanks to the interwebs tonight, I'm a little less ignorant.

I am subscribed to the History Guy. His posts are factual and well done. And yes, Robertson is my choice for projects, in fact when coming across a flat head screw I usually toss them out.

Almost doable. Use a 1/18 Apache upper and any cheap modern lower, like a T-90 or something like that. Do need two separate barrel though. Recoil unit in the turbo fan is a whole different problem. Maybe they can fired like a twin canon with opposing cycle to reduce the recoil. Anyway I digress. This is stupid. On the otherhand the Hellfires would be a Tamiya equivalent of 2 shot kill. Can this actually fly also ?
