| OK, I need a consensus on this;
I have confirmed that we do have the option of using the indoor facilities at Black Creek this Saturday.
I am suggesting we stay with July 18th and if the weather is good, hold it outside, and if the weather is poor, meet indoors in the Black Creek Community Centre, same location (realizing it is not as spacious as the facilities in Kitchener, but we have held events there and had a good time).
I would really like to go with July 18th because I cannot guarantee where I will be at the next Sat. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Lets proceed with July 18th as a firm, meet day.
If the weather allows, I will cut the field on Friday aft./evening and we will be outdoors.
If the weather prevents field prep. or threatens outdoors on Sat., we'll take it indoors. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Looks like it is improving greatly for Saturday now down to 20% but looks like it will be a morning haircut... :-) _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| We'll see what Friday deals us, if we luck out, I'll get a cut in after dinner.
But a quick run around with a bagger in the morning would be a good thing. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| So it is a go, no matter what the weather is.
If you have not paid you Black Creek Dues, please bring $25.00 to cover them.
I will post how the weather is going and the likelihood of it being indoors or outdoors. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I've been persistently doing my rain dance, so hopes are high. No you cannot see my rain dance, it's fairly complicated. And shocking.. and possibly a chargeable offense depending on who witnesses it..

| The weather for both field prep and the meet still hangs in the balance. As they say, watch this space; I will put an update out by 6:00PM Either way, we have the indoor facility at our disposal, either way, lets make the best of it, whatever happens w/the weather. Some pictures of the indoor facility; _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| According to mine only 30% today and 20 tomorrow for down there. Either way we will make it work. I hope we are outdoors so I can fly my drone while a battle is on. I got the camera working properly! :-) _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| Just curious, but why are we not looking at Sunday for the battleday.
It looks clear all day until later in the evening when were done anyway and if someone is able to, there is time on Saturday to cut the field. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| I out for Sunday but I just checked mine again and Saturday is now down to only 10% while Sunday is 60% PM showers. I would rather not drive home in the rain either! :-)
Saturday rain or shine my vote... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| Sorry, but if there isn’t a strong chance of an outdoor battleday then I’m out. It’s not worth the time and cost of gas for me to come for an indoor battle. Which sucks since I missed last month, hopefully the weather improves more. I will keep an eye on how this plays out before make my decision at last possible moment. In the meantime, I’ll prepare as normal. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| I think we will be safe for outdoors Derek. Even if field prep doesn't get done today I am bringing my mower and coming early. Should only take me an hour or so to get it trimmed down... _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

| I understand about the indoor thing and long distance driving, it is a smaller area and unlike Kitchener, no beer & schnitzel.
We have a light rain here at 2:20 PM but not a wash out.
I can't do Sunday, or next week, if it stays relatively dry, I plan to do a cut on the field, a finish cut w/a bagger would be great tomorrow.
I will give a weather update later on.
We have had another season with changeable, unpredictable weather so far. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Sun went away but I am still going to cut.
The bagger would be most appreciated tomorrow, though. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I cut the field tonight but we will need a bagger for sure and volunteers with some rakes would be a good idea.
The grass was very thick and long and must be removed before tanks can be run on it. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Thanks for all the field prep work Glen.
Right now it's dry but humid as... well, something really humid, in Hamilton. It'll be damp tomorrow but I'll be bringing the fleet for some grass runs. Puddles bad, moisture is fine.
Im working till 7am~ tonight / tomorrow, so if I'm late I took a nap. Expect me at lunch at the latest! _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Thanks Glen. The car is packed and batteries halfway charged, see guys tomorrow.
Hey Dean, you would get a kick out of this, as I was packing her tank, Scout was in the backyard catching fireflies. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Couldn't do the bagging on the field this evening, as I was needed to pick my Son up in Toronto for a wedding he needs to attend in Wainfleet tomorrow, so a bagger will help a lot. I'll bring a rake. We could use need several more.

Stinger Thank, Ian I spent 1 1/2 hours on it last night but even after that, the field needs more work before we can run tanks. This year has been bad for grass growth with the frequent rain. It will likely dry up about the time I seed the bare ground on the new septic installation at home _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."
