Hi guys,

Just want to put some pics up of my hacked together JS-2. Couldn't pull the trigger on the Tamiya and I have some parts lying around so decide to take a go at it. Lower is HL KV, with Juckenburg IS wheels, upper is Tamiya, turret is Juck again, barrel from Frank in Germany, muzzle brake from Carson @ DKLM. And various borrowed bits as I can't afford the extra parts from Tamiya. As is Tamiya parts are already half the cost of this hybrid.

Looks good Mike, thumbs up
but that is an odd looking shaped commander's hatch. scratch

Stince, do you mean the cupola or the actual hatches ? I compared it with the Tamiya ones and I thought they look the same. The cupola on the otherhand is probably the weakest part of Juck's turret, which incidentally is suppose to be a KV-85/IS-85 turret so can't really blame him as I am taking some artistic liberty here.

Artistic liberty is my middle name!

Good work Mike, I really like that turret. They put out great parts.

What's running inside?

Thanks Jordan...... The usual fair, the split KV hull is a little smaller than before, but still managed to put a big speaker in there with Clark board. The turret was already wired from before, no elevation but servo recoil and hammerhead for IR battle.

I kinda build the tank around the turret as I really like it also.

I like how you made the track droop over the boggies making them look heavy and realistic.
