| Hi all,
I gather from my TO dealer that he will likely has the Chally II here just before Christmas. I was wondering if there is enough interest for a group buy or pre-order and save a little bit for everyone. Let me know if you are interested and I will see what kind of deal we can get.

| I am expecting retail to be about $200. Hoping that Cdn$ won't be too bad, but I just want to get a rough number and see what price (hopefully sub $200) he will give me before committing, so no worries if you are not sure. It will be cash and carry also, so no tax and no warranties......... Although the way we rip up stock tanks, maybe I should ask him if he can give us a discount if we don't care for the electronics. |

On the otherhand, rctank.de told me that they are definitely getting the new Panther F from Taigen before Christmas.
http://www.rctank.de/Exclusive-New-Panther-F-metal-edition-with-Taigen-gun-recoil-system-IR No problem Mike, not in a big hurry for it anyway. I can wait a few months if it saves some money. | I definitely is looking at saving money more than being the first on the block. I am hoping that if I can do a bulk buy with him I will get a good price for everyone. It looks like we are looking at 5+ right now anyway, and I am sure when it actually shows up there will be even more interest.
Will keep everyone posted. I also pre-ordered a Panther F (from rctank.de) so will let people know when it's ready to be shipped. My contact in TO doesn't carry Taigen stuff....... :-( |

| Was picking up some parts and talked my re-seller in TO today. He did receive the notice of Challenger 2 available to order so it will be in his first order in 2016 which is around end of January. Should be getting them a month after that. I told him it will be a bulk order of 5+ and he said he will give me the best price.
I will let you know the price before you have to commit, but I am sure it will be pretty reasonable and no shipping cost or taxes. |

| Last I heard it is on his order list for January so he will have them in February and I will know the bulk pricing at that point and will keep everyone posted. |

| Yeah I just saw it off his Facebook post. Not a bad price either. The only thing is that I think the road wheels are on hard plastic rather than soft rubber, similar to his excellent Leo metal chassis which was the only downside on an otherwise excellent after market replacement. |

| Bad news boys. My Heng Long contact just told me that he didn't get his shipment of Challengers from Heng Long. I asked Greg since he has contact with Mato if they can do a discount on a club buy. I know Mato is based out of Markham here north of TO so I can even pick them up if it saves shipping.
If that's a no go then it will be everyone on their own I guess. I think Hach bought one from HobbyRaw but I believe Mato is still the cheapest especially if you got the discount from membership for 2016. |

| Mike have you picked up from Mato before? | Nope and they don't do it. Their shipping is very reasonable ($16) but the HST is bit of a killer ($33). However overall they are still the cheapest, especially if you use the discount card from Greg/Derek if you pay your membership dues.
Everything together is still under $300 CAD.
Greg also got back to me and Mato basically said they are the cheapest even with shipping and if you can find it cheaper advertise they will take another 5% off.
So everyone on their own......... |

| Don't they still have the free shipping in canada for orders over 400 bucks? , they had that back in November , during there sale , that was a killer deal back then , where else could you buy a full Metal version, gears , wheels, tracks , etc for under 200 bucks ! |
