| It occurred to the other day, that this Battleday will mark my 5th anniversary of my first Battleday. For the fun of it I thought I'll bring my first battle tank ( yes Dean it was a Tiger). I haven't run it almost 3 years so I hope works. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

Mine got re-done, so it isn't in its original 2010 markings. Original 3 colour scheme; Present late war east front camo, Hungary, early 194; I don't think I can run it right now, the old SLU electronics are "senile" _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Mike, great pics.
I am glad to report that the Clark board failure wasn't as bad as I thought. Some how the Strumtiger came back to life after I got home. The Chally, however, does seem like it has burnt one of the FETs and one directional motion is shot.
I have a spare Leo board and that's what will be in my Chally for now. The Chally board is going back to Clark. I am wondering if this is again some teething problem that hopefully will get sorted out given that this is the first batch of the Tk-24s.
I did had a funky receiver but will test it out. I seem to recall having one with intermittent problem before but decided to toss it back into the parts bin and it might have been one of the same. |

| Mike, I had the exact thing happen to my KV and it was sent back, it's like you said one of the directional controls ate it. Really good day, no sunburn and hardly a broken tank (for me anyway..!) Hopefully next time I'll bring more powder and we can record it _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Thank you all for the work you did to make the event a success(cutting/shaving the grass, carrying tables. setting up canopys, and putting out the buildings. I got tired watching you. LOL I had my first 3 battles today. I didn't do much in the first two but in the poker chip battle, I was next to last to out. I think everyone took pity on me. ALL EXCEPT ED. He cut me down. So cold hearted. Just joking Ed. Again I ended up with an overload of info. Thank you Russel for the work you did for me. And also Jordan with whom I enjoyed talking history of what we Yanks call the war of 1812. Also Dean and Mike for working on my ZTZ. And Wayne for the hot dogs. If they all went like this I would like to see more of them. THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!!!!!!!! |

| although it was ta dtad warm for my liking we had enough shade and water to keep us going. Thanks to everybody that came out and thanks John and Ed for helping out with the "lawn" first thing and thanks Wayne for getting the hay field cut down in the first place! I had a most excellent day with my tanks! no failures, and my good old Sherman with new bearing idlers and my trusty old KV did stellar service through out the day. (thanks Russell) Lunch was great thanks boys!
Russell, can you upload the Firefly footage to youtube for me and make it public please? Much appreciated! _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov

I will have to bring some, or all of them out, to the next one. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."
