Hi Guys,

Looks like Sunday will be perfect for doing some maintenance on the field. I should be there around 10 - 10:30 or so. Feel free to start without me! LOL!

John, I will bring my mower but if you want bring yours too will make it quicker. weedwhackers, spades, and I will try and bring some stone but we should try and sift some rock when we dig out the riverbeds so trying to think of some type of screen to use...

Everyone welcome to come and give a hand even if only for a couple of hours. I will have extra tools! hehehe....

TXS
Dean

Hi Glen,

The hall being booked shouldn't be an issue for us working outside should it? Can't do it Saturday I am unavailable and it is supposed to be severe Thunderstorms in the area.

BTW The next weekends weather is looking perfect for battleday!

Well, looks like they don't want us there so there goes that plan. Sorry Guys. Maybe I'll just save my time and energy for the Kitchener field... :-)

While the Black Creek Centre has quite a bit to offer, like everything else, there are some downsides.

Besides the location for many, one of the downsides is that we get "bumped", occasionally for scheduling, though this does not happen often.

I tried to negotiate getting the work party in on the Sunday but it did not work out.

I appreciate the interest in coming out and getting some things done, I wish it had worked out.

Jughead, that's a great idea IMHO.

Glen etc.

I have been away for the last ten days and I am now reading the site.

My intention is to go there and cut grass tomorrow, Tuesday unless there is more to this story.

I have not replaced my weed eater so that will still be needed.

Is there any benefit to me going over there Friday evening, or should we just wait and do a quick clean up on Sat. morning?
