| Haya in U.K. is taking pre-order. Container will arrive on August 30th and they should be able to ship in September. Just like the Chally, UK will get first dibs. |

| Maybe Greg can find out when Mato will be carrying it. I don't trust my local guy Michael to stock it anytime soon. Quote from Haya is about $310 Cdn shipping included for the plastic version, and $410 for metal tracks and gearbox version if you pre-order now. |

| Mato didn't care for group orders and my contact here won't get it for a while...... He just got the Chally, so who knows when he will get the T-90. |

| Apparently you can now switch to more realistic sound. You can have the Tiger I which is the standard sound for Heng Long and the Leo which is still wrong but more realistic. |

| Just a quick update....... Plastic tubing for the gas tank feed (So that's a first for Heng Long). Almost everything is add on separately and not molded on the hull including some reactive armour. No WWII German Tank Commander (Thank god for that). Yet another new version of radio control, but they done away with the "K"annon buttom, and use it to switch the sound set instead. Since it has two different sound set I assume the receiver/MFU is also new...... Hull Recoil has been toned down significantly and is almost reasonable for those who like hull recoils like myself. Shorter hull than the ZTZ so even with metal tracks didn't feel any flex or sag. Hull is wide enough for side by side gearbox mount to install 480s.
Generally pretty good out of the box. I mean if you don't care for IR battle I probably won't change anything on it. Same quality as the Chally if not a little better still. When you consider that the Chally was a bit better than the Leo, and Leo is better than the Sherman and the T34, HL definitely has come a long way since the PanTigers. |

| Here you go Greg...... Put in a set of 480s with the standard pot metal gearbox. Notice the funny battery compartment shape. IBU2 with ZTZ sound right now, hunting down T-90 sound files as we speak. Stock speaker has an alloy cone which is nice. The battery is small 1800mAh lipo but slides in the front half of the compartment and the rest is half height. Here without any add-ons. Looks almost like a T-72. Loads and loads of add-ons. Or spruce as we use to call it I guess. |

You mean IBU ? Yes, via a MicroSD card. They basically have all the commonly available tanks already and the odd variations (Like the different Sherman engines). You also set the tank functions via the SD card as well, like recoil timing, servo and channel directions, smoker on/off/intensity etc. The sound files can be multi steps, so you can have rattling of the tracks in between, as well as cold and warm start etc. etc. Tank start and destroyed you can add in voice or songs/anthems etc. No switching out all my Clark boards but if I want more functions I will switch over on a tank by tank basis. |

Sorry about the confusion. The Heng Long stock comes with two set of sounds. Tiger I (good old Heng Long sound) and the new Leo sound set. Clark's new Tk-60 and also all the firmware upgraded Tk-22 and Tk-24 can be loaded with sound files directly from a PC connection with the new Tk programmer. I have put in IBU2 Base into the T-90, which uses SD card for sound files and tank functions. I am suppose to get the Clark Tk-programmer this week and will be able to tell everyone how it works. What I was told by Clark is that you need to upgrade Tk-22 to Tk-24 firmware, then from Tk-24 firmware to Tk-60 firmware before you can upload and download sound files. Obviously if you have Tk-24 already then you just need to upgrade to Tk-60. |
