Yes Bud. You can buy the one with 6 channel. Flysky radio is compatible with Clark board

I was talking to Bud at the meet and what he's looking for is a simple analog 6 channel that has push buttons that will fire the main gun, if possible, or something that can be wired to do so.

I'm off to work so I can't look just yet, but I would love more info on the HobbyKing radios and their options as far as button controls.

Jordan,

I told Bud the same thing and was going to get the orange Hobby King radio for him, but the ones that Hobby King sells does not have self center right stick. It is the same radio he has for the Pershing. I will order him one from this shop in Canada that re sell the same radio but has the little self center piece so that both sticks are self centered. It is also programmable and the shoulder button can be programmed for firing.

Mike, that black radio with dials / switches says "Computer Programmable" on it but I see no way to do that... how's it done? Is that just a fancy sticker that means nothing?

On the same webpage you can see a T6A radio programming cable. There is a 5 pin connector at the back of the radio and you just need to use a PC to program the functions on the radio. There is no mixer functions, but you can program the shoulder buttons to do the firing of the canon.

Just thought I would throw Turnigy 9X in the mix. They are on sale right now and are pretty easy to make the self centering right stick. I made my own for 3 radios I have now.

It is an amazing radio, but you do need to after market support to get a backlit screen in and update it to tank firmware. As is from Hobbyking is a little complicated for tank purposes.

I have the one you gave me for the Chinese tank. TOO MANY SWITCHES I get too confused. Mike has it programed to turn on the light on my Patton. It is an excellent transmitter as far as response. It is more than I can handle.
