| Nice looking delivery system Mike. (Shapeways is a ripoff IMHO, but they do have some unique stuff). |

| Right..... Will put that in.
Maybe I should put a Mako board in it and set up a Tamiya 2 shot kill mode. |

| Find a linear actuator like your trailer's tailgate |

| Good looking project Mike. Were the rockets a stock item at Shapeways or custom order? |

| The rockets and the large frame was the only one he had on Shaprways initially, but have all the other pieces in 1/25 and 1/32 scales, so I asked him to post a complete set for 1/16.
I am having issues gluing them together so will need to try different types. Super glue gel didn't work. |

| They are probably a stereolithography (SLA) 3D printed item. Great for detail.
If the Material is nylon, you may want to try Gorilla Glue, as CA does not bond well to Nylon. Or try standard polystyrene cement (plastic kit glue). I use old modelling glue for polystyrene all the time, takes a while to cure, but really is strong. Just make sure to do a light sanding to rough the surfaces and give the glue something to hook into. |

| I think it is nylon and it is quite rough already. It is not a smooth finish. I will try Gorilla Glue and see what happens. Does plastic kit glue "melt" it as well ? Also, for the trailer I have there isn't a power actuator. I got this set and will try to put it on the Broder : |

Depends on what type. This cement type, does not melt the pieces, but does require some roughness for the glue to adhere to. This is what I use for my polystyrene pieces inside my tank hulls. When the plastic if roughed up, this stuff holds very well, but is not permanent (aka you can still force apart) Solvent based ones melt plastics together... Sometimes very messy due to the resultant "slurry" of plastic. The old very thin liquid based "glues" are usually like this. |
