| So no one other than Greg ? Made an offer see what he says. Seems like a reasonable good deal to me. I am trying to find flat bed trailer for it and use it for my moderns. |

| Very very tempting! Better tires, a crawler esc with AVC and it's good to go! _____________________________________________ You may be a king or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the reaper! - Death

| Hach, that was last month. What about this month ? :-)
Chris, I think it comes with ESC already just need receiver and radio.
Big Mike, this is 1/12 (I think the beast is 1/10) so there is an off chance that it will match the larger moderns. My 1/14 Tamiya King hauler looks completely to scale. Also this is 8x8. It says metal chassis so I am assumming the upper is not metal.
Will see if he accepts my offer or counter it. |

| Interesting steering circuit though... The opposing cables are for ensuring rear set of wheels turn the same direction? Beadlock rims. Looks like 12mm hex drive. One servo to the trailer king pin latch. Unknown function for second one... Internal Spring Shocks, likely oil-less. Walking beam style tandem suspension, front and back. |

| Mike, I think you found a really good deal! There is a pre-built 1/10 styrene M977 body on Ebay, (can't find it on there right now, but here is a link to the same thing on another site: https://greensmodels.co.uk/products/oshkosh-m977-body-set-1-10-scale ). I bought just the cab about two years ago, with the idea of building a M983. I had to source the Tamiya TLT axles, RC4WD 8x8 frame, and - of course - wheels, tires, transmission, etc. When you add up the cost of what I have into mine, (which is still not done), it is FAR more than what you were able to get this one for! Had it been available at the time, I would have jumped on it! I am planning one of the M870 series of trailers for mine; either that or a Patriot missile trailer. But, either of those are a long way off in the future. I will enjoy seeing what you do with yours. -Mike |

| Mike, I didn't even realized that this is the tractor for the Patriot missiles....... Until I saw the last page of the instructions of Coming Soon optional parts and think, hmmm, that looks familiar..... |

| Just in case it is not obvious up side down, that 802 product is the radar for the Patriot Missle System. |

| That's great news! I bought a Trumpeter 1/35 kit of the Patriot missile trailer for eventual use as reference material for a larger build. They refer to it as an M901 Launching Station. When I look at the pictures you posted of the radar trailer, I'm struck by all the similarities of the radar trailer and the missile trailer. The trailer itself (with the fold-down legs....what I thought would be the most difficult thing to create) looks the same for both. I know that there are later models of the Patriot missile (PAC 3, I think?) but I believe the differences lie in the size of the missiles themselves, and the number of missiles carried on one trailer.

| The wheels are quite large so that limits the degree, but it does help that the front two sets turn via cable linkage which I am not a fan of, but don't know what other options would there be for a 4 wheel steering on an 8x8.
Will bring it out on Saturday to show everyone. |

| Front and rear servo steering. Y-Harness and one side has a servo inverter (If needed). |
