Has anyone here ever used this product?

I’m thinking of trying to use it for zimmerit on the King Tiger, but I also have Kneadatite blue/yellow and the Trumpeter Zimmerit Tool kit on order...any recommendations?

THX in advance for any input!

PS:
Turret is metal so I can’t use the heated screwdriver technique.

I use Mr. Surfacer all the time. Would not work for zim. If you want to save yourself a lot of agony purchase an ATAK zim kit. so easy to work with and applies perfectly...

Hey Dean,

Thanks for your input! I originally checked out their kits and they suggested I get the universal kit ZM-1608...looks like I might as well bite the bullet and order it!

Yep, sand your surface a little, fit zim to tank,  sand the back of the zim CAREFULLY a little, apply with gel crazy glue and you are done!

Thank you guys for all your advice!

When I was thinking about trying this (about) a year and a half ago, I tried to find milliput but had a difficult time sourcing it...

IMHO I knew Greg likes to use the stuff but I find it takes too long and has inconsistent depth and no matter how good you are inconsistent pattern. The zim applied at the factory was very precise. Now, for a field application no problem but if you are doing a factory applied tank the ATAK is a better way to go.
I use milliput for all kinds of things just not zim. I pick it up at Hornet Hobbies in Toronto or at the Hamilton model show in the spring. Someone always has it there...
