| Hi all, I have collected a Tamiya JS-2 kit when it first came out, and then shortly after Taigen came out with their excellent JS-2, but I decided to build the Tamiya one anyway, knowing that I will probably get the Taigen one as well. Well, finally the Taigen one showed up and I was very impressed, as is with anyone who has ordered one. I have some pics to show the differences, but the biggest one of them all is the price differential. The Tamiya JS-2 ended up costing me just under $1,000 USD from AAF, and the Taigen one is from Rctank.de and a shipping damage (one fender was broken) and I got a 60 euro discount and end up paying 460 euro for it. It used to be that you have to add in electronic cost to any Taigen tanks to make them at least the same as a Tamiya, but in this case, with the new version of Taigen electronics (V3), it is compatible with any hobby grade radio, and a new sound module, plus a on/off for the hated hull recoil, I have to say that it is not longer a must to replace the electronics. If I have not needed Tamiya battle capability, I would have left the Taigen electronics. In this case I replaced it with an IBU2U. |

| That's really sharp, I'm not used to seeing that sort of texture detail on the HULLS of Taigen tanks. Very nice. Now we wait for something crazy from them...
