Started installing the SLU in the Elefant last night, got about 90% of it done. Just have to relocate the ECS, it's to close to the travrse motor.
While testing the recoil, I found out the barrel had compressed while I was in the middle of painting. When the barrel return to it's uncompressed state, there was a half inch ring at the end of just base coat paint.
I must of jam the barrel into something, before the cameo and weather was put on. Doh!
I was able to blend it, so I don't think it shows, I hope.

The paint on the barrel has been fixed and the electronics are installed.
Everything checks out, but for some reason the tank only moves about an inch back and forwards. If it's placed on a block the tracks go like mad. I'm hoping it's just a low battery thing.
I'll bring it to the BattleDay to show it off, and maybe someone can see something I'm not.

It's not scared!
It's just the every German engineered master piece. It takes a lot of tuning to get it running right, not like the Russians, that just any silly thing together.
