| Hey guys, Found a new source for little odds and ends, some decent gearboxes of all grades, & a bunch of other cool military stuff in different scales & even some uniforms. http://tankarmy.com/The shipping costs are what hurt if you get TOO heavy but, they are still reasonable. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| As a rule customs should be doing the following HST or GST & PST + 15.00 dollar fee for the paperwork and depending on the product 4% to 100% for the cost of the goods if there are tariffs. ( most tanks are classed as toys so it is shaky which duty you pay). It depends on what the customs guy classes the article as or he may let it go duty free.
If you have it sent by mail you generally pay the tax plus a paperwork fee. but risk damage. If by courier you get all the above PLUS their fees for customs clearence. I recently paid 170 bucks for a shipment just in duty, the product obviously became mine becasue I can't recover that kind of cost in the sale of the product.
A tip is too always have it sent to a residential address under a specific persons name via registered and insured mail. Be honest with the value and generally I find you pay the tax on the declared value. Lie, get caught and boy they will make you pay for years because your name will be flagged. |

I think that's what happened to me because of the tank i bought last was 450 sale and he put 600 value =/ _____________________________________________ |

| Regular mail, I'd say I get away duty-free 75% of the time.
You will get nailed 100% of the time +$20 if you go UPS / FedEx / Puro. That's how these companies rake in millions.
Given the choice I prefer USPS or Canada Post anyway, they're just as good really. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| I have had good success with USPS or Can Post . and like Curtis says off shore orders are not always a deal because of the Customs " surprize " fees . Had to chuckle ,when an Asian order came marked as a " gift " with a ribbon tied around the package . |
