Thanks to Wojtek, Frank, and Martin for coming out today and helping with more road work and especially Martin for digging out the seine trap location for the new water trap for the river. big Mike was out to inspect and check out for the pumps so we are getting close to having a self sustaining river! 

We also did more mud coating of the roads, and some rock work. I have the first guard house built for Tom's automated gate system. And of course a couple of shots with new StuG... :-)

I really didn't do anything... More like moral support and talker...

Martin has a knack for digging graves it seems... LOL!

I'm hoping to get back out there soon but i got some packing still to do. really sucks when i try working on a tank and then i remember i've already packed the shrink wrap

No rain in the forecast tomorrow will be hard at it testing water pump hopefully and installing telephone poles, re-water some roads, and oh yea, play with some tanks! "ACE" will be making an appearance after a tune up this week...

Bringing the Tiger back up. This time I'll make sure both battery clips are fully snapped together. Felt pretty dumb when I got home and saw that was all it was

Ha! LOL! Welcome to RC tanks! I lost turret rotation on "ACE" some weeks back. Suspected board blown. Put in a new board, nope. OK checked motor by testing in another tank and it worked fine. OK checked wiring, changed 8pin wire, nope. checked 8 pin wire on other tank. Works. OK very puzzled now. So checked the daughter 8 pin connector and found a post was just loose enough to lose contact! Touch of solder and good to go.... 2 hours later! LOL!

so as discussed with lots of people the field expansion is complete! We now have a lovely grass airfield area. As a plus, all those extra logs on the southside by the water/power station have been removed. Next stage of planning for new back area will be more elevated platforms... The field is in perfect shape for Saturday!

So if you tank breaks or is out of the battle they shouldn't be moved until the battle is over and don't drive it off the field?

If your tank breaks down but is still drivable you may drive it off the field. If not drivable leave on field till battle is over...

Unless your lipo warning is going off !

If your lipo warning is going off AND you can't drive off the field you really are having a bad day! LOL!

Speaking of which are the latest Clark boards now lipo friendly ? (i.e. low warning or shut-offs ?).

Clark boards have always been lipo friendly. Been using lipos with them for 7 years with no issues. Stick my little $2.00 alarm on the batteries no problem...

BUT From Clark site...

"Adjustable Low Battery threshold cut off ESC output when battery voltage is lower than threshold, and threshold can be adjusted according to type and cells"

Holy crap didn't know about the adjustment threshold. Need to check that out.

He has always had it. Even TK22's when they got low the tank would just stop driving. You had all other functions but it would just quit driving... :-)

Tk-80 is the BOMB. They didn't have that before.

TK40 has it too
