Hello tankers.  Some time go I bought 2 tanks from Kaptain Jack.  A T-34 and a ZTZ-99.  Both tanks have SLU boards but I only opened the ZTZ-99 to have a look inside.  Wow.  I was going to make modifications to magnetize the hulls and make the battery compartment accessible from inside.  I had to stop when I noticed that the wiring to both front and rear lights were cut but since my soldering skills are severely limited, I contacted my local hobby store for soldering help.  They agreed.  Unfortunately, upon closer examination these wires would need to connect to the SLU board to provide the proper power to the lights.  Is there anyone who has experience with SLU boards that are labeled in Chinese?  I include only 2 pictures.  The cut wires and the SLU board.  Many thanks.

No experience with SLU but I can read Chinese.

It says L1-L4 is your basic lighting, L5-L8 is extended lighting. 

My guess would be L1-L4 is your standard front and back light, L5-L8 is brake light, signal light etc.

Just rig up a simple LED with 2 pin connector and try it out.

I believe that SLU's were brought into Canada by Fireman Tim from Fort Erie?

Thank you gentlemen for the information   I googled SLU but got garbage responses.  This starts to make more sense. 

Hmmm.  Went to that site listed at the bottom of the SLU (HTTP://LIGHTANDSOUNDUNIT.WEEBLY.COM) and it opened on some kind of tutorial/lessons on "Light and Sound".  Jack had mentioned that SLU boards may no longer be available.  Oh well, with the information and suggestions you provided, I will have these cut wires soldered to 8" wires terminating with 2 pin female DuPont connectors and play around from there.  Thanks again.
