| Hach, the front idler track tensioner is put together wrong I think. Is it linked up to the 1st road wheel ? I don't see that in the pic. |

| Your front idler is way too high. I am pretty sure it is the assembled arm with the first road wheel that's the problem. Make sure you didn't mix the right with the left one. They are very similar. |

| You can try insert another link and see if that helps. Your first road wheel should have a larger gap to the second road wheel if you looak at page 15 of the instructions. Something is not right with your idler/first road wheel. |

| Hach, you need to rebuild the lower. The problem is with the different suspension arms. I am pretty sure that is your problem. I have never had to put in extra links ever for any Tamiya Builds. They are precise not like Heng Long/Taigen/Mato. If something is not right is because you didn't read the instruction properly.
Is the track rubbing your upper and you can't close it ? If it is then adding tracks is not going to help you. If not when you remove the tracks can you then close the upper ? |

| Hack, if you look at Chris' track, it is levelled all the way across. Yours is on raising slope and it does not touch the front most return roller. Also the idler is much closer to the 1st road wheel also. |

Mr Shoveler, Would you please elaborate on the AM Idler Adjuster? Is it shown in any of the pics you posted? TIA Barry |

| Oh suuuure. Make me dig. Ha haa. Good thing Pack Rat runs in my family. Nothing gets tossed. This is a pic I just took of the stock idler arm. It has a hex shaft that can only be assembled in 6 positions. I have looked at my pics and do not see the one I installed in my M26. I will have to dig further into my PW to find if I still have the receipt. I believe the one I installed comes with a sleeve with an internal spline. The arm that has the wheel attached has an external spline. The sleeve stays stationary on the suspension arm. You adjust track tension by where you engage the spline. When and if I find where I ordered this from I will update. Keep in mind that was 4 1/2 years ago.
