| It is with a very sad heart that I write this posting. https://www.futher-franklinfuneralhome.com/m/obituaries/Edward-Reimer-2/MemoriesREIMER, Edward-Edward Reimer passed away on Friday October 15, 2021. After a year-long battle with cancer, Ed leaves us peacefully, surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his loving wife, Norma, his children; Michael, Nicole, Alison and Eric, and grandchildren Charles, Henry, Riley, Luke and Jack. His parents raised him to be an amazing older big brother, always taking care of his siblings; Annemarie, George (Linda) Margarette, Rudy (Audrey), Debbie (Gerry), and Sue (Mike). Ed also leaves behind many loving family members, including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family, and always taking a keen interest in his grandkid’s hobbies. Bey blade battles, slot car racing, video games and so much more were always a much anticipated event with Opa. He was an active member of the KW Garrison Can-Am R/C Tank Club and the Northlands International Raceway, making many friends along the way. Like his father, Ed was also an amazing builder and always enjoyed having a project on the go. No project was too big or too small, whether it was a large scale home renovation, or a special keepsake for each of his grandchildren. Truly a man of many talents with a great sense of humor and zest for life, he will fondly be remembered by all who knew him. | RIP Ed. Our hearts and thoughts are with Norma and your Family in this time of sorrow. Our sincerest condolences to you all. We met him and Norma once and were impressed by their gracious and friendly greetings. We could have spent all day as Ed kept bringing up tank after tank and showing off with pride his amazing projects. Such a noble and pleasant person. He will be remembered. _____________________________________________ Being new to this hobby, I am meeting a super group of people willing to share their knowledge and assistance. _____________________________________________________________________________ |

| We are shocked ! I have not been able to access the CanAm site in over 2 years and now that we have gained access this week only to see this sad news. Dianne and I would like to express our condolences to to Norma and the rest of Ed's family. We always had a special time when Ed and Norma came to Fort Erie.

| To one of my best friends I say thank you Ed.
Without him, the KW field never would have been built. The time and dedication both he and Norma put in is beyond measure. He was a great friend, a wonderful human being and without him this club will be much poorer and I shall miss him terribly...
I will see you soon, but not quite yet....
