I checked the website of hooben today. It seems they will release leopard2 and M1A2

...which brings to mind... who makes a "high quality" aftermarket gearbox that isn't 3:1? Waltersons right?

I think it will do the speed with the larger motor drive geat fitted.

The only thing is, they are a bit high and will fit a Tiger I and the Panther G, no problem; I am not sure how much room there is in the Leopard.

"Freaky Dude" at Immortal Hobbies might be able to inform us.

No doubt, Hooben always use their own gear box. I don't think Waltersons gear box can be installed in Hooben production.

Can't you fit Tamiya gearboxes in a Hooben?

Since I have the Leopard 2A6M CAN and am working on the Hooben T-55 I guess that leaves the M1A1 for me.
