| It's an interesting shot! Makes you wonder how the tank got there. It kinda looks like it floated down the river into the bridge, because there is no damage to the top of the bridge railing. (which I assume was fixed before the picture taken) _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

Notice the Zimmerit on the fenders? Hard to tell if there is any on the front hull. There would of been about 25 in service when the German's stop applying zimmerit in the field in October 1944. No Jagdtiger had any from the factory, which discontinued the application of zimmerit in September 1944. There is also the possibility that the fenders were taken from a knock out King Tiger. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| The fenders application defies the common understanding that zimmerit was not applied to the fenders. As we can see, it clearly was. Maybe in the field, but never say never. _____________________________________________ My Tanks <<== Click hereCan-Am Tank Club <<< Web site linkTiger I | King Tiger | Panther G | PzIII | PzIV | Stug IV | SturmTiger | Pershing/Howitzer | M16 Halftrack | M26 Super Pershing | M48 Patton | M41 Bulldog | Gepard | Leopard | KV-1 | KV-2 |T-34 | |

| It actually doesn't look that hard to do. You can't see the deck, but it's just several beams across and a few wheels. I almost have that now. I'd just need to figure out how to get traction on that motorbike Just staring close at the tank...geez, that thing is quite the monster. That's what I really need, is one of those Jagdtigers. | You can never have too many empt shell casings if you ever find out there are no shell casings on the ground there is clearly a lack of shooting in that area ...there for it is your duty to skatter the area of the enemy's direction with projectiles thus making more empty casings ...thus destroying the enemy |
