| I made a bridge this evening for the field. This will take the place of Roland`s trestle bridge in the centre of the field. It is not a pretty; it is inspired by a rough wooden beam bridge I saw in my copy of `Tiger I On The Eastern Front` This one has an inside width of 13 inches. As far as tank widths go, Panther is 8 inches, Tiger I is 9 inches and a KT is 10 inches, so everything should fit, if the driver is careful. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

The one that likes to roll his Sherman. He doesn't require booby traps to roll his Sherman... _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

Here we go. Basically, we needed a "stand in" bridge for Roland's beautifully made trestle bridge which is made to go in the centre of the field.' Mine is a more utilitarian effort, "inspired" by the pictures of rough, timber bridges, constructed in Russia by the Wehrmacht Pioneers. This one is made to fit the same space (35" long) and is solid enough to leave in the trailer with the other battlefield props. These were taken indoors, because the weather was not cooperative, this evening. https://i.servimg.com/u/f82/17/38/23/34/img_1558.jpg" border="0" alt=""/> _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| It was made to measure We did a bit of work on the field, today, so I tried the fit of the bridge. At least in the dry (or not so wet) spots. Holding the meet today would have been a muddy disaster We are hoping for drying weather next week. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Naw, there was once a large & gorgeous trestle bridge in the centre of town. If you look through battle day photo's you'll see it. I think it's just not kept in the trailer. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT
