Well, there are rumours of a Taigen offering with the production turret. It is not confirmed but the speculation is that it will be equipped like the Taigen Tiger I; torsion bars, quick removable upper hull and track tensioners. That may be a future build, if not, maybe going to the other end of the spectrum, a Pz IV F2 _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Glen, The Henntech idler system is gorgeous. I got mine form ETO Armor http://www.etoarmour.com/product_detail.php?productID=HT025I think they are your best bet, even with big heavy Tiger tracks they are solid. Replace the small M3 set screw with an M3 socket head bolt, and you'll never worry about stripping them out again. I'd just check to see from which retailer you'll get the overall lowest price. Those are the top 3, and I think ONLY vendors, that carry them.. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Thanks, Strato Always good to hear a 1st person report from an experienced modeler. Maybe I'll get the "Big Girl" a set for Christmas , I have a number of other things on the go. After all, if Captain Action ever puts the Indiana Jones figure out, what else would you run over him with? (Well, OK, maybe a big Ruski tank ) _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Strato, I believe the tension can be adjusted with the upper hull in place, is that correct? _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

Yes, at least on the Tiger I, but it's nearly the same for every set. Access is from behind with a hex driver. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| Glen I'd recommend you wait a bit to buy the tensioners, especially if there is no dire need.. You never know what is coming down the pipe these days. |

| yes actually there are 2 things, obviously the Henschel King Tiger is coming from Taigen and I have told them they need to make sure there is a track tensioner on it and they also need to stock spare parts.
Second is I am working on getting track tensioners made up. |

| In case anyone doesn't know, the KT has two types of link, a blank one and one that engages the sprocket. This means you can't just remove one link to shorten things up a bit, like I do with my HL Panthers. So, for me, a track tensioner on a KT is essential; the previous post is good news. From what I have seen, there are at least two systems currently offered for the KT, one that you have to take the upper hull off to adjust, the other can be adjusted with the tank assembled, which is preferred. "Anneliese" is out until the 2014 season, anyway, so I have some time and will wait for new developments, with keen interest, please keep us informed _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

Second is I am working on getting track tensioners made up. Some after thoughts on this one; I often think s l o w Comment; I am thinking it would be nice if either it comes with tensioners, or the price is "attractive" enough to entice one to buy the tank, and add after-market tensioners. Don't know if they will do it, but the option of a plastic track version would be my preference. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."
