Well everyone the post man delivered my Tamiya Rc Kubelwagen and my Bandai Hummel......
Started the Kubelwagen very quick and basic kit to put together, but here are some pics of where she is at...

Ok gave it a base coat of dark yellow and did a 3 colour camo and started the weathering..

wow nice the Kubelwagen is cool i wonder if they sell the drive system and stearing seperate to be used for other projects

Wow!  You're doing a great job on the build!  The only negative thing I've heard about this kit is that the steering mechanism is a little weak, and that people have replaced it for a mini servo, which give much better steering.  -Mike

 not too hard to do pictures Mike
just go to the icon host an image then browse for your image

pick an image then hit host it them it gives you 3 choices

thumbnail
image
image url

click image it will then be hightlighted then right click hit copy then put you cursor on your post where you are writing right click then paste picture it should show up

Thanks everyone and yeah the rc components of it are fantastic but it wont be getting flogged around the battle field so it should hold up ok. Here are a couple of pics, I am calling it finished...    for now anyway.
Just got to paint ole Gerry the driver now.....   The decals I used are for the stug brigade version hence the pic with the stug......

Hi Everyone,
I purchased a Verlinden kubelwagen crew set a couple of months back and I also brought a set of 6 different Verlinden heads so I could swap the guys head in the back for a different one. Finally got around to painting them , not that painting figures is my forte but here they are....

Maybe some weathering on the uniforms, too clean for the battlefield.  


Also I heard about the fires in Australia, hopefully you, your family and friends are not affected by it.

Thanks mate yeah I think I will dirty them up a bit. 
Yeah the bush fires are pretty bad down south, my family and I are fine but I have a close friend who is near where all the fires are. We appreciate you thinking of us down here.
