lol a process that is only 5 times the effort of paint.  As cool as it is I doubt this will last long.

Comparing apples with apples, you won't be able to produce that finish in paint in the time they can do it. The result is nothing short of amazing.

Try and get that from a guy with an airbrush in the time they can produce that finish. I highly doubt it.

I would venture to guess it will take more than 5 times longer.

respectfully Disagree  with all the steps your over 6 hours with dry times etc that is a long time.
None of the parts at liquid customs are not quite a tank. I can't see how this product will bend around rivet heads and not fill in weld lines which is it's downfall. For some things yes this might be great but for 1/16 scale tanks this I highly doubt would work.
Nothing beats an airbrush when it comes to scale model work.

I too must respectfully disagree with you.  Take a picture of that gunstock to a painter (or yourself if your that good) and tell him you want your gunstock painted in 6 hours or less to match the picture.  Good luck with that.

I have had custom paint work done many times before, trust me, you are talking way more time than 6 hours to try and replicate that, even with base/clear.   That's even assuming your artistically that good.  I'm not.

We have a person in this city who can do custom paint work like that.  I have watched his work before.  He would have waaaay more hours than 6 hours to make that gunstock painted like (think of how many colours are there..and shading) that and then cleared and buffed.

I have currently 100 hours into the single colour paint work on my car to bring it to that shine.   If you have someone who can do stuff like that in 6 hours or less, give me his number as I need some graphics done on my car.

I did not suggest for one second this could be done on 1/16  tanks for the reasons you suggested.
