Sigh, this one is annoying... and frustrating.
Might sound a bit confusing but I'll do my best. I can't wrap my head around this. Here's the situation:
My new Chi Nu build is pretty much done. I just installed the IR emitter so she has teeth now... testing it out between tanks, all seems well... it sends Cannon and MG hits just fine on my other tanks (It has a very strong IR emitter that hits at almost any angle indoors, but that's another story...)
Putting my Tamiya sensor on the Chi Nu, as I have done before to test with the Clark sony remote, all seems well. It takes MG hits, lights up, sounds, no problems. The problem is... it wont take cannon hits from ANY of my tanks.. all the while it takes cannon hits from the Sony remote just fine...I really don't understand it...
I open up the programming list to double check that I didn't accidentally disable the "receive Tamiya IR cannon" on the Clark board... I cycled it a couple times, it's definitely not disabled.
I tried hitting it with other tanks and it's the same issue. The Chi Nu receives IR machine gun as it should but not cannon hits... so it's not the IR bulbs of my other tanks. The Tamiya sensor receives cannon & MG from other Clark tanks (I only have one sensor), so it's not the TBU...
My only logical suspicions right now is the Clark base cables from the TBU to the board... or the board itself has a fault.
Help?
...I might go into programming mode and disable Tamiya cannon receive... see if that helps.
