Greetings guys,
Was an interesting morning! arrived at the field at 9:30 and everything was frosty with fog everywhere. did some pics and a little video and then things began to thaw just like the Russian spring on the steppes! As we kept driving around suddenly mud was our enemy!

Sorry to bring this old thread up but I was just looking for some inspiration and these pics really did capture those late 1944, early 1945 Ostfront images. In black and white they would almost look real. Also looking at Dean's Jagdpanther I've made the decision that when I get back next month the Tamiya Jagdpanther is getting torn down and also receive a new non striped paint job. Frustrating model really as not sure what Tamiya was trying to do as it's neither a G1 or a G2 but some weird hybrid. I would have liked to have made it a G1 with Zimmerit and Panther A exhausts but almost everything important is G2 but all the tools etc have to be moved to the rear
