| Operation: Underdog
Through the use of the French Résistance, the Allies have gotten word of a secret German proto-type assault tank. With this new threat about to enter the battlefield, Eisenhower knew he had to act immediately. Knowing that an order for a full on frontal attack would cause the Germans to move this weapon away before having a chance to destroy it. This would require a more quieter approach. By deploying troops farther down the line to attack a neighbouring town to draw the Germans away, Eisenhower would then send a crack squadron of tanks to sneak across enemy lines, locate the new weapon near a small village and destroy it! This will be a suicide run that only will mean victory to the Allies if this new armoured terror is whipped out!
The basic rules:
The Allies
1 squadron of tanks, which is about 4 tanks.
Mission – To invade German territory, locate and destroy the proto-type tank.
The Germans
1 highly advance tank to act as the proto-type tank. (The Pan-Tiger if Captain will allow us, or any modern tank will do.)
The rest of the German force will be everybody who is left.
Mission – Stop the Allies from destroy the proto-type tank at all cost.
The Win only comes when a) the proto-type tank is destroyed or b) the Allies are destroyed.
So depending how many tankers we have the odds against the Allies can get pretty hard, but remember the Allies only need to destroy one tank to win. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Soldiers of MisfortuneTM
The Set-up: Requires 2 hula hoops and an equal amount of Soldiers of MisfortuneTM (action figures), a minimum of 10. Divide into 2 teams, each starting in opposite corners. Hula hoops are placed in the starting corners with equally divided Soldiers of Misfortune place in the center of the hoops.
The Mission: Teams must retrieve the soldiers from the opposite side while at the same time trying to protect their own during a pre-determined amount of time.
The Rules: The hoops are a safe zone, player inside the hoops cannot be fired upon, nor are they able to fire at other tanks. Players may only load or unload soldiers while in the hoops. Soldiers cannot be held down by any means, or be placed in any openings; they can only be placed freely on the top surface of the tank. If a soldier falls off during transport or the tank carrying it is knocked out, then that soldier is lost for the game. Also no blocking or ramming of other tanks to knock of the soldiers.
The Win: When the time runs out or if one side’s tanks are destroyed. The team with the most Soldiers of MisfortuneTM in there hoop wins. Tanks that are still moving on the field with a solider on it count as a half point. If there is a tie, then the team with the most operational tanks wins. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| No Crossing the River Battle
The Set-up: Divide into 2 teams, each starting on opposite sides of the main river that runs through the field.
The Rules: Teams must battle the other team on their own side without crossing the river.
The Win: Last team standing wins. Options: 1) When one team is down to 1 tank the other team may then cross the river to pursue. 2) The battle is played out with only one bridge that may be used for crossing by either team at any time. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Seek and Destroy (or the Poker Chip Game) The Set-up: Player spread themselves evenly around the field, then draw names of members (poker chips) who are completing without showing anyone. If a player draws their own name then they must redraw.
The Rules: Player must now seek out the name they drew, and at the same time they have to watch out for who has their name. The only tanks you can fire upon are the name of the tank that you have, and the tank that attacks you first. After you knock out the tank of name that you have, you can now attack any remaining tanks. When you knock out a tank, collect only 1 poker chip from them.
The Win: When the last tank remains the game is over. The winner is the player with most poker chips in the end. If there is a tie, then the player that last the longest wins. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Tank Commander Battle
The Set-up: Divide into 2 teams, each starting in opposite corners. Each team then secretly decides which member of their team is the tank commander.
The Rules: Teams must knock out the opposing team’s tank commander before their own is knocked out.
The Win: The first to knock out the opposing team’s tank commander wins.
Option: Play until one team is completely knocked out. As long as the tank commander is still alive, members from their team are allowed to keep respawning and rejoin the battle back at their original starting point. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| 2 Man Crew Battle
The Set-up: Divide into 2 teams with equal number of pairs. Each pair will only use one tank, and decide who will be the driver and commander. The drivers with the controllers will sit in chairs with their backs to the edge of the field. The commanders then stand between the drivers and the field.
The Rules: The drivers are not allowed to look at the field and can only control the tank through the commands of the Commander, who are the eyes for the driver.
The Win: The last team standing wins. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Check Point Relay (Played as 2 battles)
The Set-up: Approximately 6 markers (ex: flags)are placed along a route through the field in a large as checkpoints. Divide into 2 teams, one as the attackers and one as the defenders.
The attackers start in a single line at the edge of the field close to the first check point.
The defenders must place 1 tank at each check point. If there are more checkpoints then tanks they have to decide which will be left open. If there are more tanks then check points, then they are allowed to roam the field starting from the opposite side of the attackers.
The Mission: The attacking team must try to complete the course of check points, while the defending tries to prevent them.
The Rules:
The Defending Team The defending tank trying to guard the checkpoints must stay within 2 – 3 feet of the marker and are able to fire upon any attacker on the field. Defenders are NOT allowed to block the attackers.
The Attacking Team The attacking team enters the field one at a time and must go to each checkpoint in sequence within 6” of the marker before moving on to the next checkpoint. After the last checkpoint the attackers exit the field at the same spot they entered the field. An attacker cannot enter the field until the tack before them has reached the first checkpoint. The attacking tanks cannot move on to the next checkpoint or pass the tank in front of them unless that tank gets knocked out first.
The Win: The battle ends when the last attacking tank either crosses the finish line or is knocked out. The number of tanks that cross the finish line is counted up and then the attackers and defenders switch roles. After the second battle the new attacking team counts their tanks that cross the finish line. Whoever had the most wins. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| The Shoot Out (Game work best as a tournament)
The Set-up: Find a flat area and mark 3 lines about 10’ apart. Place 2 player’s tanks with their back ends on the center line facing the opposite direction.
The Rules: On the count of 3, both tanks race to outside lines in opposite direction. After crossing the outside line, the can now turn around and start firing on their opponent. Also after crossing the outside line tank can now move in closer, but cannot cross the center line.
The Win: The first tank to score a hit wins. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Looks like quite a bit of thought and time went into planning and doing write ups on these.
I think they will all work and will be entertaining (I know we have done some, or variation of some).
The only two I would personally not participate in are the Two Man Crew Battle and the Shoot Out, not that there's anything wrong with them, I think they will be quite popular. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| This all sounds so good al though I'm more in to the objective games the protecting of a company commander and add into it a capture the flag after half of the other team has fallen ...only then can the river be crossed and the flags be taken if the remaining team don't take out the invaders from there territory |

| Siege of Bastogne “German mechanized forces had to seize the roadways through eastern Belgium. Because all seven main roads in the Ardennes mountain range converged on the small town of Bastogne, control of its crossroads was vital to the German attack. The siege lasted from December 20–27 when the besieged American forces were relieved reinforced by elements of General George Patton's Third Army.” - Wikipedia The Set-up:One half of the Allie forces are positioned inside the town the other half (3d Army) are positioned on the edge of the field All Axis forces are positioned at the opposite end of the field The Mission: The Defending Team must hold on to the town until help arrives and destroy all attackers. The Attacking Team must surround and destroy the defenders of the town (Bastogne) and having done so move, and hold, their main objective on the opposite side of the field (Antwerp) The Rules: The initial axis attack on Bastogne will last only 10 minutes at which time the 3d Army positioned on the edge of the field will advance to the town at full speed. The Defending TeamThe defending tanks in the town must hold off the attack and can not move beyond the town limits until the 3d Army arrives .They are then free to break out and attack The Attacking TeamThe attacking team must destroy all the town defenders before moving on to the prime objective (Antwerp) on the edge of the field. If reinforcements arrive in town limits before the initial defenders have been cleared, they can not move on their final objective. In the event the town is cleared and the attackers move on to their objective, Antwerp on the edge of the field. They must hold this position for 10 minutes from the time the first tank arrives. The Win: The battle ends when either side has lost all its tanks or the side with the most tanks remaining after the final 10 minute battle in Antwerp. |

| Great scenerio Ed. One suggestion if I may, only 1/3 of the allied team in Bastone to represent the initial armoured superiority of the German strike force and to induce panic in the defenders facing overwhelming odds! _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." | I like this one too Ed! We definitely try this one. I also agree with Dean about 1/3 of the Allies in the town. I have two timers I can bring for this and hula hoops to mark the starting positions on the edge of the field. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

It is bad enough to be blind but having everything opposite is dangerous, I hit a building with my barrel and drove my barrel into the river bank. At least when facing the field I do not burn my brain out trying to think which way is back, forward, right and left. Wayne |

| That will work too. And maybe not using a speedy tank would help. | Hey Guys,
Been a long time since we updated this page. Over the past 2 years we have run some different and fun scenarios so please, feel free to post your favourites here... :-) I will start.
A. 2 team battle where if you get killed you must drive to the main table, roll a dice, if you roll even you are back to life and re-enter the battle. If you roll odd you stay dead. Battle continues unlit there is only one member from a team left alive and when he dies that team loses.
B. Repair scenario: 2 teams. Each team has a repair truck or tank in a neutral part of the field. As you battle if your tank dies you must go over and pick up the radio for the truck/tank and drive it to your dead tank. Upon reaching your tank you must then return the repair vehicle to it's neutral position before resuming battle with your tank. Teams can decide on how many repairs you can get or play out until one team is completely destroyed before repairs can take place.
C. One Shot Kill Scenario: This can be played individual competition or in teams where one shot and you are dead. for individual play do it as a round robin to determine overall winner. For team play simply last tank standing wins. _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov
