So, I was thinking about a potential future tank idea - the ghost tank from White Tiger - and I had an idea for a battlefield game inspired by the movie.  It would be slightly complicated, but I think it could be very fun.

Teams:

• Allied (multiple tanks)
  
• Axis (multiple tanks)
  
• Ghost tank (1 tank, without an apple)
  
• Umpire (for reasons that will be apparent shortly)
  

Setup:

1. One tank from each team is randomly selected to be the ghost hunter tank (the only tank that can kill the ghost tank).  They can tell their teammates that they are the ghost hunter, but not the other side.
   
2. Before the match starts and with everybody else closing their eyes/turning their backs, etc., the ghost tank hides somewhere on the field.
   

Victory Conditions:

• For the two teams of multiple tanks: kill the other side and the ghost tank.  If nobody kills the ghost tank, wipe out the other team and escape from the field.
  
• For the ghost tank: kill all the other tanks.
  

Rules:

1. The ghost tank is only vulnerable when it is hiding.  The ghost tank is killed when one of the ghost hunter tanks shoots it (this shooting must be declared to the umpire).  While the ghost tank is hiding, it can't shoot back.
   
2. The game is divided into two alternating phases.  The main phase lasts three minutes, during which time the ghost tank is hiding somewhere, and the all the other tanks are safe from it.  The second phase lasts 2 minutes, during which time the ghost tank is out and hunting.  The umpire calls out the change in phases.
   
3. When the second phase (in which the ghost tank is hunting) transitions back into the main phase, everybody has to turn away from the field so that the ghost tank can hide again.
   
4. No tanks can escape the field until all of the other team's tanks are destroyed.
   

So, what I imagine this looking like is that you have the tanks rolling around and battling, with the ghost hunter tanks trying to find the ghost tank at the same time.  The phase changes, and the ghost tank comes out and starts hunting.  Then, the ghost tank hides again, and cycle repeats.

(Come to think of it, it would kinda resemble a game of Pac Man, wouldn't it?)

What i would love to see is a convoy battle,
1 each team must protect 2 NON-TANKS from point a to point b.
2 the points A and B are only known to the umpire (if there is one needed) and to each individual team, the convoy route is not known by the enemy forces.
3 the defenders can escort the convoy with as many tanks as they want.
4 a win is when 1 team has disabled the entire convoy or the convoy is captured.
5 a capture is when an enemy tank is able to "touch" (with its barrel or frame, just do it gently) the convoy vehicles.
6 a convoy can be re-captured by destroying the enemy tank that "touched" the convoy and then "touching" the convoy vehicles again, at that time the convoy can continue its route.

this may bring more suggestions in the conversation and i would be happy with more suggestions aside from the ones where i get told to jump into the lake

We’ve played a convoy scenario in the past.

I liked the convoy battle missions from a couple of years ago.

Hey, that's a pretty cool game idea! "Ghost Tank" sounds like it could be a unique and exciting battlefield game, especially with the element of the ghost tank being vulnerable only when hiding. It's like a mix of strategy and suspense, and I can see it being a lot of fun.
