| Looks much better without the truck bed. Congrats on getting 2 of the 3 images to post properly. I have given up completely here |

| LOL... I'll have to actually get my Beast out? Reminds me that I need to get a couple more 6 channel transmitters for cars/trucks. |

| No idea how the pic uploading work here. I am also glad two out of three came up right side up and large enough to actually see what it is. It is either too small or upside down.
Would love to know what the difference is between the Beast and Beast II. I have a two channel radio for cars, but slower realizing that I need at least 3 channel for the gearbox and then when you put in stuff like winch and fifth wheel you are basically 6 channel like you said. I am actually using my tank radio for it now. |

| The original beast was also a 6x6 chassis but standard with 2.2" tires and an older frame style. The axles were versions with the differential bowl on the bottom and an additional reduction gear similar to 2.5t and 5t trucks. (Blackwell Axle, now discontinued). - Quote :

| The biggest difference was the "scale". The cab and trailer bed were scaled up compared to the Beast II. So the truck looks much shorter, despite the longer wheelbase. |

| I guess it was much more like a "military" crawler than a truck. The wheels are massive. The Beast II is much more to scale to the MAN Kat1 is based on I guess.
Even the 1.9" wheels looks big to me. The 2.2" looks massive like the Manmoth from CrossRC.
Bring it out next time. Would love to check it out. |

| LOL. I have a Beast II. Cause I'm cheap!
I woulda loved that Beast however, just because of the axles... |

| 2.2's are awesome!. I built my Unimog around them. Man did I have to cut the fenders back! These are probably the same tires shown above. _____________________________________________ You may be a king or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you dance with the reaper! - Death

| Hey Chris, yes 2.2 is basically oversize for crawler. I am trying to get some kind of scale MAN Kat1 look so even 1.9 looks massive ! Of course you will need the right chassis and axle for it.
Hope you are well buddy. Coming back east to visit anytime soon ? |
