| The one in April did get push back a week, so the time between is shorter.
It really puts a pinch on me, because I'll be away next weekend and I really want to get the Elefant battle ready for this meet.. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| I noticed last night that the field has lost that spring "squiggy" texture and is pretty firm, now.
We are supposed to get some rain in the next few days but as long as we can get it cut again and it doesn't rain on the 18th, conditions should be pretty good. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| Just in case it has slipped, by does everyone recognize that May 18 is the long weekend.

| i dont want to be charged for drinking and driving tanks but at the same time you have to think what kind of place the field is at. going to a pub after the days battle maybe but not a good idea during the day i think _____________________________________________ I do things in the name of science but first hold my beer

| I was over to the field tonight and hit the thistles that were springing up, and the vegetation in the ditches, with Roundup.
Mike at the Black Creek Centre said they are supposed to put outdoor power outlets on the pole for us tomorrow; hopefully the electrician doesn't disappoint.
The trailer will likely not get moved until before the June meet, they want to level and roll the stone behind the barn, first. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I was over to the field, today. We have a plug, now: To those of you that were out for their first time at last month's meet, the field was not at its best; I got about 80% weed whipped, had to quit when my 35 year od weed eater over-heated; _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

Thanks, its getting better, anyway. I will be watching the weather. Ideally I like to cut it the Friday evening before the meet, although it could be Thurs., depending on weather and business travel for me. _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I will be keeping an eye on the weather. The long range weather does not look the best, for outdoor hot tubing, preping the field or playing with toy tanks. However, this may be good, they are seldom right with the long range weather _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

There was a guy we know, who drove a Sherman into his in-ground swimming pool, a couple years ago, unfortunately, it was not a DD Sherman, either _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."
