but he did send this in his Email i posted this here just incase he didn't want it all over the place a Can-Am Exclusive
Hi Greg
Thanks for your email. I wish i can attend the tank battle. But this week is a very busy week for me. Today we have new shipment just came in. We will another shipment come to our warehouse Friday. And i will fly to China Sunday. I just receive the Sherman sample sent from my friend in US. I will carry the sample and talk to my supplier in China. If everything goes well. We will see a full metal Sherman tank within this year. Mato Will release the metal Panzer III and Stug III shortly. I talked to my friend John Wilson. We are going to set up a tank battle on the hobby show this year. I will support the battle and give some tanks as prize. Did you go to the show before?
Cheers,
Murphy |

| The metal tanks just don't interesting that much, I would rather see them come out with different ones then metal version of the ones all ready out. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| I don't get the hype either. They just heavier versions with less detail. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| See thats what I don't understand.... with the added weight doesn't that put more strain on the motor or something... as well as the suspension |

| I've had bad luck with my HL tiger with things ripping out of it, idlers, suspension etc Heavy tanks climb better I guess, but yea you've gotta upgrade everything :\ Crushing popcans is fun _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

| The weight of it would make it fun to go crash around with, but I don't think you'll want one as battler. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| Maybe tension bar suspension is a good idea. but I don't have any interest in metal panzer III and stug... IMHO, that definitely is not a good direction they should go.. |

| Yea definitively as a battler, it has its drawbacks. Ive yet to upgrade any motors though. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT

I completely agree. For what it is worth, there is my limited experience with rc tanks, for what it is worth (which may not be much). I have had very good operating characteristics from the following set up with Tiger I's and the KT and panther; - stock, plastic tracks - stock wheels and sprockets etc. - heavier suspension springs - Mato 3:1's - track with minimal number of links to prevent "throwing" tracks These tanks are not "heavy" and they do not have realistic track sag. I have not had any breakage of any kind in the "running gear" or gearboxes (I realize that may have been bad kharma to type ) These larger tanks do run well over a variety of surfaces and terrain. My word on this is not the last word, others have different experience and opinions and that's fine, but due to my experiences, I am not interested in metal tanks, right now. Too bad Murphy can't make it to June 16th _____________________________________________ "Luck favours the prepared!."

| I would be interest to see what the sales look like for the metal Tiger.
It must higher than we think if they plan on coming out a metal Stug / Panzer III and Sherman. _____________________________________________ HL Panzer III | HL Tiger | HL Jagdpanther | HL Panther | Mato Sherman Hooben Elefant | HL Pershing | HL Bergepanzer IV | Tamiya Leopard 1A | WSN T-34 HL "Golden" Pan-Tiger | M16 Halftrack | HL Panzer IV | Tamiya KV-1 | Tamiya Tiger

| ya i think i would like an all metal stug just to drive and to custom paint and also have a display made for it i like the all metal idea as long as it's affordable my thinking is it's going to be around the same as a Tiger all metal though |
