| The track on the Pershing is rubbing the hull in the rear. What should we look for to fix this? |

| Bud, pics would be good. Pershing is a rear drive, so the drive sprocket is probably out of alignment, either because it split open (It is a 2 piece with two guides in the middle) or your gearbox mouont are shot. |

AH-HA! A Confession! Yeah. An image or two showing the area effected (without the upper hull) would be good. |

| MIke, everyone's got their hands on Bud's Pershing. I was the original builder and Jordan was the pit crew and put in new gearboxes at our K/W meet. |

| Pershing is probably one of the worst Heng Long tank to work with, and there is no real after market chassis to speak off, unless you get a Tamiya but then why would you bother with the Heng Long top ? To replace the stock plastic bogies with metal ones you have to drill thru (i.e. destroy) the bogies to get to the screw to take them off. The front idler does not have a tension adjuster of any kind, after market or otherwise, and its linked to the first road bogies via control arm to act as a tensioner.
Anyway the whole lower is just a dog's breakfast. I have the misfortune of working with 4 of them (my own which I sold, one for the M48 mod, one for the Club draw, and Bud's). Not pretty. |

| Yea there is a "new" Pershing version from Heng Long, I think it came out late last year (2015), you can split the wheels easily and there are a few other changes to the turret I think, 100x times easier than using a hack saw to remove wheels.. _____________________________________________ Tiger I - Panzer II - Panzer III - Panzer IV - Chi Nu Kai - Panther G - KV-1b 756(r) M4A3(76) Sherman - T-34/85 - M3 Grant - SECRET PROJECT
