Thought I'd share a build I'm finally coming very close to finishing. This is suppse to be a sweedish strv 122. It's a leopard 2a5 but has upgraded front hull armour and turret roof armour. It also has a French smoke launchers system instead of the normal German launchers. It also has different turret rear boxes then the 2a7 and other upgrade packages. ITamiya strv 122. 20241111

This was a mix of stuff. I had the rear turret boxes custom designed and made from a guy in the UK. They had to be done bassed off real pictures and they turned out superisingly good. I had them made hallow to help with the very little space in the turret. The recoil just scrapes the main board it's so tight. I also got the turret roof armour from ludwig. This was a very rough kit but turned out alright same with the smoke launchers. The last thing it needs is the front hull armour. I'm planning on using dklms leo 2a7+ kit for the front hull armour as its the same. I also cut the main gun down to the mm so it's the correct length for a 2a5.😀

All in the project as turned out better then expected. I can fit a 2s lipo in one of the turret boxes and the flash unit in the other. It's extremely tight 😬 hope everyone likes it.
