And so we are now into the second 1/2 of summer and up comes the next battleday. As always I unfortunately will not be attending as I will be at Fergus Highland Games for the 32nd year in a row. Can't break with tradition! So it will be up to you guys to set up and lunch. I will be going out this Saturday (tomorrow) to put everything back after Aquino if any one wants to lend a hand.

I was thinking of doing some corn on the cob and something else...maybe potato salad, coleslaw and a charcuterie board with buns, if we have decent attendance.

Plz let me know if anyone has any dietary issues.

sorry boys, it rained all day Tuesday so didn't have a chance to trim the rest of the field. Went out today and did a little more but the batteries ran out. Going to slide out tomorrow and see if I can do a little more for ya but either way it is going to be a "hairy" field for ya'all...

I’ll try to get out there today with weed whipper and leaf blower to help with getting the field into shape.

Trust me, it was much, much worse. This is about 8 to 10 hours worth of banging away at it between me and Mitch, and Norma did the grass cutting. Everybody go look behind the trailer and see the amazing clean up job she did...

So lunch will consist of cold cuts (your choice of gf ham, turkey, salami), and cheese (extra old) on bread/buns (your choice) for $5 and $5 for corn on the cob (up to 3 full cobs).

I will have gf bread/buns as well.

If you have any special condiments plz bring them.
