| Ken, It was sold long time ago. otherwise i can take some pictures inside.
All gun traverse, elevation and recoil were hiden inside the hull. the traverse, attach an arm to the axle undermeath the hull, so you use servo to pull it back forth. gun elevation is the easiest, a servo underneath pull the arm through a hole, the arm attached to the gun bottom. the recoile is the hardest, you have to drill a hole in the rod which connect the gun bottom and hull, there is a wire pulling the gun back through two roller hiden inside the gun. when the recoil unit recover, the spring in the gun push the gun back to original position. hard to explain, it is easier to show you in person. |

| Hey Strato the parts in the lower pic are a gearbox plate to mount Tamiya gearboxes in it and drive shaft adapters and the other is a spring loaded idler set up. I have another set of these coming as I just brought another brand new in the box Hummel cheap and going to maybe make a Nashorn ( Inspired by Tom's ) out of it. Airbrushler you noticed the box.... |
