Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of switching my Clark board out of my old T-34 and into the new one.

The old one never had elevation, so I'm hooking the new one up to the stock HL one. I have everything working on the tank fine, but the elevation motor only goes one way.

I thought the Clark boards gave you control of up and down without cycling all the way around?

clark board does give you that option if you have it as a servo. It plugs in next to the recoil servo I believe.mike has done these and can pipe in here...

Stince, did you do the re-wiring ?

HL Gun Elevation and AirSoft Correction
In HL original design, gun Elevation and AirSoft sharing same driving H/W, so the gun elevation can only be controlled  in one direction, if you missed the angle you want, you will need to wait a full cycle of gun elevation, to correct this problem, we add dedicate AirSoft control h/w to TK20 board. the following shows you how to correct HL tank and get two direction elevation.

The picture below is original wiring in HL tank:

I never really figured out that issue with a couple of my Clarks... most of my tanks it will go up and down, but a couple.. it only goes when I go 'left' on my stick. I pretty much gave up lol Razz

Well HL use the same Pos(+) for both the elevation and Airsoft so both motors can only going one way. Clark's diagram basically switches the Airsoft (+) to tap into the MG/Light so now elevation has its own Pos(+) and can be controlled/reversed. If you are not using Airsoft than the Airsoft connection on Clark became the AUX power for driving other things, like laser LED etc.

Yea, I think it's a matter of not having rewired those tanks completely from the ground up, and simply not realizing it. I haven't looked in ages! Razz
