So i just pulled the trigger on a 3D printer...
Gonna use it for prototyping the Maus project (Almost have suspension completed in design btw... Simpler than expected). Will update the Maus Build Topic...

Anyone have links to any relavent 1/16th tank items on Thingverse? Or themselves?

I don't have a ton of info for resources but I'd like to know what you got, and through whom. There seems to be a LOT of printer related gizmos on the market.

I decided to buy one that already a complete unit and was not an open source program. So I went and ordered a FlashForge Dreamer from Flashforge-USA (also sold as a Dremel Icon, brand as in the Dremel tool). It was a bit pricy, but I like the idea of a completely self contained unit. First thing I'll do is make the thingverse spool holders to run 1kg spools instead of the 0.7kg proprietary ones. Going to purchase Simplify3D as well once the printer arrives. Open source splicer programs are free but I've seen the actual speed tests for processing. Simplify 3D was 35-45 times faster in processing the printing pattern for the printer (Aka creating the code for the 3D printer to use). Paid through PayPal so I'm at least secure in getting my $ back if they fail to deliver...
