Norma and I were able to come by 3:45 to buy some well deserved drinks for Dean ( and anyone else ) who put so much effort into this weekend. Alas, just crickets and a lone flyer in the sky.We checked out some of the planes in the hanger, just awesome ! The field was really nice, the train is a great touch. I will see you Sunday 10 AM with some more detail items.Norma would like to have come but has been called to work Sunday,so its just me. Should be a good day.

Great day for RC tanking today at the KW R/C airshow...
The field and the great weather
Sunday morning... Is that a new creation by MikeC? Yes it is...
IS-3 custom... It worked! only minor pieces came off (before the testing...? Did you find the cover MikeC?)
The IS-3 on the field doing trial manoeuvers...
At least you have the apple in, instead of testing your IR in an indestructible tank...
A Saturday IR casualty is repurposed for camera duty...
Who is afraid of heights? Not this Pz VI...
The bane of MikeC's IR Battles... Except that the IS-3 could actually hit it!
Kwa's Panther ready for action! Nice job BTW!
A trio of Germans in a Mexican standoff? WTF?
Yay, my eldest monster gets the model right on the first try... Guess World of Tanks is not too bad for them...
My monsters playing with some of the nice additions brought out... (Hopefully all still in one piece!)
Waiting and being admired by kids all over the place...
Great day, I handed out a couple of the club forum business cards to some of the onlookers and discussed a bit about the goings on of the club and our passion for tanks. Now I need to convert my monster's HL Jadgpanthers to HL 2.4ghz or Taigen versions to play against each other. Airsoft though...

Oh, and the only plane that I had to stop and watch...
Too bad the announcer isn't a military plane buff... Knew all about the stunt and performance planes, but the Fairchild A-10 Thunderbolt has a 30mm gatling gun, not 20mm...
Some great trick flying, and acrobatics, er... sorry 3D flying done as well.

So I finally downloaded a little clip I did at the show with my new little camera. It works pretty good! I will have to try it on a full field with lots of tanks...

Nice Video. The stabilizer works great. Not sure if the camera tank was Axis or not, or the King Tiger may have disabled it . lol

Thanks Ed. The KV is a low slow runner so pretty stable. I wanted to thank you, Russell, Kim and his buddy (Jim?) for sticking around and helping me tear down the field and pack up. It would have been a lot bigger task without the extra hands believe me!
