| Hi Guys,For everyone's consideration...One of the things discussed at this past get together was ordering batteries. I have always trusted Michael's advice and I'm sure he will chime in here but the big thing is if we gang together an order to Hobbyking we can save a) shipping charges spread over the whole order. And believe me shipping is not cheap! The problem is shipping batteries now a days is a risky venture unless you send them special which hobbyking does. b) there are clearance fees and taxes on these BUT they are so much cheaper than up here in Canada! So, here are a couple of links of the ones I am using. The first is my radio battery. Yes, it is a lipo but think of this, I am usually 3 months between charges! Think of all the AA's you go through or rechargeables you go through. for $18.00 I love them! They fit the Turnigy radios and probably will fit a lot of others. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-2650mah-3s-1c-lipoly-tx-pack-futaba-jr.htmlNext are the lipos I use in in my tanks. The case is a little larger profile than the stock stuff but I fit it even in my small tanks like Sherman and T34. The reason I love these? In outdoor battles in the sun left constantly on running in the field I get around 5 to 6 hours on a charge no problem. And the best part, check out the price!!!https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-5000mah-2s1p-20c-hardcase-pack-roar-approved-de-warehouse.htmlNow, most chargers you will need an adapter to plug this puppy in. This page you should be able to find the adapter for most any charger...https://hobbyking.com/en_us/batteries/battery-adapters.htmlNow it would probably be good for Michael to chime in here about perhaps a smaller profile battery too. Now, for those of you who don't like lipo there are lots of Ni to chose from. Here is a nice 5000 MAH that should give at least a couple of hours of good steady power.https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-stick-pack-sub-c-5000mah-7-2v-nimh-high-power-series.htmlAnd if you want AA's for your transmitter:https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-rechargeable-battery-aa-2550mah-nimh-4pc.htmlO.K. guys so check the site out and lets start a discussion if anyone is interested in ganging an order together...Dean _____________________________________________ "There are things in Russia which are not as they seem..." Maybe shipping, although most of the batteries are coming from HK so it will be by weight and not much to discount. |

| I'll take 1 lipo as well.
Will you be able to include the adapters as well in the group buy?
I'd need one that has a Tamiya female if so... |
