PostSubject: New at the Tank Museum???    Tue Aug 08, 2017 1:02 pm

So on our way home driving from New Brunswick, we decided to stop in at the Tank Museum in Oshawa.
Totally forgot it was a holiday, so we could only get a quick look in the yard in the rain.

But did see somethings interesting that they did not have at the big Tank Weekend in May.

Damn!  Now I'm properly stoked for my trip to the museum this weekend.  I hope these make a showing on the WW2 weekend.

Marder III with the 7.5cm.. Looks like it is missing some breech parts though....

Is that a Flak 36?

Yep that's an 88'.

Found another picture of it, not sure where it came from.

I recently heard a podcast about a Covenantor tank being dug out at a WW2 Canadian army training ground in England. It was a training target. Its supposedly going to be restored, dunno about if it will be running, probably just display, and donated to a Canadian tank museum. This coming from the guy that found and dug it up.
