Only one working amber light side? Otherwise looks like fun! I have been tempted to buy the snow plow for my SCX10... But I'm a cheap Dutchman...

The lights were added by me. The amber lights work. Just coincidence in the pics that only the left one was on at the time.

I took the plow off cause the new motors are too big for the op rod to work. Ill have to make a modified one at some point. Now it gets air!

A while ago Shoveler74 posted his Blizzard SR Kyosho clearing snow and I knew I'd have to get one. Thanks to Mike C here is my Cat doing the dirty work for me. Plastic tracks and I added a Banggood diesel sound to the Tamiya speaker. Works great.

Very nice!! Mine has turned into more of a racing cat. Ha haa. I have to make a new servo op rod to put the plow back into use. Damned oversized motors. Ha haa

Mine too, if I let it go it will do 300 km. Maybe just accept it and slap a # 43 on the side .

This is great Ed ! I never had the chance to use it on a driveway (and don't even have one now). It finally get to do what it was built to do. Love it !

Latest changes to the Blizzard. 2X12 Sabertooth esc, plow back on with minimalized blade. Deep saw paddles attached to original plastic tracks. Working on new body in Tucker Orange.

Sabretooth 2x12? Doesn't seem like much. 12A continuous per track... But I know they have self regulating amperage protection (aka too much amperage/heat generation and it drops to 10% output to cool).

Yes. I immediately found the limitations in the 2X12. First of all I wanted 12 gauge wire to the motors. I couldn't stuff anything bigger than 16 in the terminals. So, doing the math, I have a currant limiting problem that causes the snocat to stall at full beans with a 3 cell lipo. Considering the 2X25 but the size jumps. It does rip though!

I twisted mike's arm last year for it. Here is the you tube I posted. It still ran great last week.

That's great. It was an original kit from the 80's that I bought from a hobby store on consignment. Just put in new ESC. (Actually a Clark board I think that stop tasking hits).

Well, stripped the gears on the SR. Ha haa. It was only a matter of time. Also broke the lower plow arms when I launched it. Got it on video too. Waiting on parts from Japan soooooo...... I finished up the new FR body. Custom tail lights with wig wags in the middle, bright a** front lights, pin striping, rear deck cage. And got a new Trail King to put it on. Good to run for the end of the season. Lots of little tweeks to come.
