| SO yesterday, my 2007 Dodge Charger w/307,000 km finally decided to not work... Ungrateful PoS! Turns out that a single little thing broke and basically locked the shift lever into park. That pink plastic PoS' spring clip broke and jammed up when I last put the vehicle into park. Dealer service? Replace the whole shift lever assembly... (Over $250 for the assembly), plus labour. Aftermarket replacement interlock levers that are all metal? $40... SO My car currently looks like a chop shop victim inside, but with a small drill and a spare HL screw, the lever works again! So I decided to make the car rebuild/fix thread... I assume that Ren will have tons of rebuild/modification tales to add to this |
