The CAN-AM RC Tank Club is a group of remote control tank enthusiasts that meet together to run our tanks on a miniature battlefield and conduct simulated battles using Infrared combat systems.
Well this one is a cheap bastard. Single servo and use steel wires to pull the second set.

Yeah. I was skeptical when I saw that arrangement... Seems like an afterthought...
(Ohh we need to make the 2nd front wheels turn as well or it doesn't steer..., how to do it cheap and without a major redesign. aka cost of additional electronics/servoes).

Oh well I guess they have to cheat on something. I am actually quite happy with it. 1/12 8x8, model grade plastic on metal frames, light and sound with 3 speed controller for $900 CAD including shipping. Now only if they have the radar trailer I will be a happy camper. It is suppose to be available end of the year, but if it doesn't materialize I will try to get the cargo bed from the other version instead.

Got the bed from the other version and just painted it Tamiya Dark Yellow (Didn't bother trying to match the colour as the original vehicle has multiple shades of dark yellow). Metal bottom plate, all sides are hinged and latch lock.

The mirrors and the side handles are made out of soft plastic, which is probably the cheapest part of the whole truck and as it turns out perfect for the roll test even if it is sticking out.
The front crash test is also a bit of a cheat as it is a metal kick plate covering the lower half of the cab.

Why not. I roll at least one tank every weekend. Ha haaa. Also, we can verify the pull test. Nobody has a Citroen this side of the pond. Or do they??

Well that video is like the worst sell job for me. I didn't spent $1000 just to roll it down the hill, crash it into a concrete barrier and drop it from 4 feet up. Not to mention pulling my car. Kinda stupid in my opinion.

So you are saying if you saw the video first you would not have bought the truck?

Wasn't going to get it because of that........ As it turn out, which I figure as much, it is more like 1/14 than 1/12........ So if they would have advertise it as 1/14 it would have more incentive for me to get it, since that is the same scale as the Tamiya truck family.
I don't know man, but Chinese is suppose to be good at math, but none of these guys can do simple division. Just google the length of the real thing, divide it by what you have and you have the correct scale. Seems like a real difficulty with these Chinese manufacturers.
