my long range does not look to good

No, not yet.

And, you are right about the long range forecast; all we can do is keep an eye on it and make a call be Thursday evening.

If it is a "go", I can work at home on Friday and zip over there at noon and get it in shape with the lawn tractor, like I did for Sept.  Its quick and easy and does a good job.

I will be there.
I will bring hot dogs etc.

Thanks for the thought.

I am reluctant to do this because it has been done in the past and IMHO, it is not the best experience; the space is a bit small, the floors are slippery and there is something about the building's structure that produces strange radio interference.

Showers likely, mainly before 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Reluctantly, I am cancelling the Oct. 20th meet.

Most weather sources the I monitor are still calling for a 60% chance of rain, and I do not want to take a chance on that.

I waited until today to call it as a balance between waiting unit we get reliable forecasts, but giving as much warning as I can for cancellation.
