Took out two 360 slip rings from Taigen IR tanks. Yours if anyone is interested. It has 13 connections, which is good enough for Taigen IR but a little short for our purpose, but I think with some double tapping it should be okay. I would try it if I care for 360 but don't gives a rats butt about that. Faster to turn the tank around.......

Taigen connections:

3 - High Intensity Flash
2 - IR emitter
3 - Taigen Apple IR receiver
2 - Elevation
3 - Taigen Recoil

Total: 13

TBU connections:

3 - High Intensity Flash
2 - IR Emitter
5 - Tamiya Battle Unit
2 - Elevation

Total: 12 (Before servo recoil)

So I think what you can do is double tap the Pos/Neg from the TBU connection since they are constant current anyway, and use the last pin connection from the slip ring for the servo signal.

Anyway, if anyone is willing to give this a try. Don't see why it won't work, and you will have a 360 turret rotation ! Yeah ! (Still don't care for it myself.....)

I just ordered those last week . What do you not like about them?

Nothing wrong with them. Just don't need the extra wiring for something that I never used. Kinda like barrel elevation.

I will bring them out on Saturday if anyone wants to try them. Need to rid of them from my parts bin.
